cité internationale des arts grant from the state of baden-württemberg, were invited
upon their return to hold a personal exhibition at the institut francais in stuttgart.
between 1986 and 2001 fifty artists had been presented in this program, which was initially curated by jean-baptiste joly, currently the director of the akademie schloss solitude.
upon reaching the number of 50 retour de paris exhibitions, an overview exhibition exhibition was held, with one work of each artist. rené straub presented a "sozialpalast" screenprint-painting on a "sozialpalast" wallpaper, a work that had been realized as a
framerec collaboration in august 2001.
